Project Description

The Website to be developed is basically a social networking site which allows users to upload and view, photos and videos, view profiles and maintain their own profile and friends.

Although the backbone of the website is social networking and similar to a very stripped down basic facebook, there are certain elements of the development that will be different and need to be integrated with the generic social networking modules.

One such difference is that the website and content is to be navigated using a geographic mapping system. Geographic levels will be defined by user selections (on a map) and will determine page results and integration points. I.e. Photo, video and profile page results are determined by what geographic region (or level) the user has selected.

The Major website features include:

**Photo gallery:** Users upload and view photos. Each photo is associated with a geographic region.

**Video gallery.** Users upload and view Videos. Each Video is associated with a geographic region.

**Personal Profile:** users create and edit personal profile like in facebook but more simplified. A personal profile consists of the users uploaded photos and videos, friends, and small amount of information about that person.

**Friends:** Invite friends, list friends, simple message system.

**Business Space:** A business space acts like a personal profile but is formatted a little diffierentely and includes details specific to businesses.

**Forums/Communities**: There will be a forum for every country.

The design and front end of the website will be taken care of by us and worked on in conjunction with the developer.

## Deliverables

Full functional spec is available to selected developers that

prove they can manage the job.

Please provide details of your applicable experience, we would prefer a developer who can reuse existing modules of code for the generic social networking modules of the website, rather than spending all their time re-inventing the weel as such.
