Multi-constraint algorithm design (complex)

I need a meal plan tool which generates a meal plan based on an inputed calorie amount and number of meals.

Basically, I need an algorithm which solves a problem with multiple constraints. The tool randomly pulls food items from a database and modifies their amount in order to satisfy both a calorie requirement as well as a "macro" requirement. The "macro" is the percentage of protein, carbs, and fats in the total meal. The database has item names, protein, carb, and fat amounts per servering. I also have another feature which must be added and I will discuss this in a pm.

I can give you an example calculation in a PM and I will send you an example of what the generator should do. You will need a VERY solid understanding of mathematics and algorithm design to complete this as it is a tricky problem (2 people have tried already). I will need to see other advanced algorithms you have completed for you to be considered.
