MPEG-1 Video Capture

I need to incorporate simple video capture into my existing Visual Basic (VB6) project. This capture will primarily come from a camera connected via the fire-wire or USB. Please provide details if it is possible to also capture from the playback through a Windows Media Player control in a VB form as I may want to capture the output from a DVD. The capture needs to be in real-time MPEG-1 format, other formats are not acceptable! We are not looking for movie quality capture. The clips we would like to capture would be about: Size 352x28825 frames per second 1.15Mbps If you are able to provide an OCX or DLL to do this process then that is fine. Or if you can provide source code in VB6 to do the task, then that is fine also. Note that all resourses used in the solution need to be your own work or freeware add-ons. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform While the existing project is Visual Basic 6, this code can be dll or ocx files written in any programming language. Just need to incorporate into my VB6 project. Windows XP
