Paid on delivery
The developer will recieve three Software Development Kits / API containing either a Java SDK (and sample code), or REALbasic SDK (and sample code).
The SDK's will be used to recieve data from their appropriate hardware.
The developer will also be delivered C# and VB.NET code that I created using the .NET version of the SDK to do what is needed.
The objective of the project will be to create three binary files that can be run on Macintosh that will use the appropriate SDK to speak with hardware (SDK is well documented and contains sample code that I suggest you use and just manipulate) and then write the response to a simple XML file.
**No Application GUI User Interface is Needed (needs to be Console and Hidden)**
Each application will run as follows.
1. Application Starts
2. Assign Variables to new Class inside appropriate SDK/API
3. Initialize API Class for Hardware
4. Call Scan / Connect method
5. Register an Event Handler for recieving data from Hardware
6. Upon recieving data from hardware write simple one letter response to simple format XML file (format is provided).
7. Add a timer that searches for a file at a specific location every 4 seconds.
8. If the file is found, delete the file, and then write a blank configuration to the XML file
This is a very simple project, and consists of 3 hardware implementations (3 API's provided, and sample code for the SDK, documentation, and C# .NET code that already works).
## Deliverables
See the attached file for details on the exact operation of the software.
Remember that there will be a seperate binary for the seperate hardware implementations (three hardware).? Each will operate in the same manner, and should be just the matter of changing the reference to the correct API, as the XML writting will stay the same.
