This application needs to control several network client PCs by ethernet. I am looking for a host computer to control video and/or audio on one or more client network PCs (10/100baseT).

DESCIPTION:

The program needs to be able to run independant AVI, MPEG video & WAV audio files from multiple computers in sync. You would have a MASTER (HOST) PC that would control the SLAVES (clients) with the video content loaded. The MASTER PC would cue up all the video and audio files from all the PCs on the network using a network timecode clock. After the video and audio alignment is complete, the user can test run the videos to see the sync results of all the PCs. After the test is successful, the user can save a data file which can be loaded later to run the same test for live PLAYBACK. All the SLAVES with the video/audio will have a timecode that this file will save the STARTING marks.

_USER Description:

_The master host control program will have the timecode only from all the SLAVE PCs on the screen with an adjustment to step forward or backward to control the video and audio on each SLAVE PC. When the user gets all the media aligned, he saves a timecodes/data file. When this file is loaded later, it will automatically load all the files and shuttle all the SLAVE PCs to the correct position and go into standby. It then waits for the user to hit 'RUN'. This will start all the SLAVE PCs running in sync live. I would like to be able to run as many SLAVES as the network will allow at the same time through the MASTER PC's network control. The SLAVES just need a small TSR and configuration module loaded with the proper I.P. settings. It will then be able to talk with the MASTER PC. All the SLAVES that have video will run in FULL-SCREEN mode. Audio will run normal in a playback module from Windows Media Player etc.
