Project Description

I need a small desktop application that will run on Windows (or Linux) and work with a remote MySQL database.

App must do the following:

1. Administrator logs in and creates a new user = email and password
2. Administrator has 10 buttons that send "commands" (called GMC programs) to adjust machine to user's settings.
3. User logs in with details created above and is shown buttons that each run a different "commands"

There is a "reset to zero" screen that displays the same 10 buttons in item 2. Above

The app will send "commands" to a motorised machine connected via TCPIP using a very simple native C++ library. (I will provide sample source code etc. - this will not be a problem for you)

We commands are just small text strings that the motorised machine understands - you don't have to know anything about these commands - you just need to store the text strings in a table.
We also need a "edit commands" screen that allows the user to edit the text of the machine's commands and save changes. (Just a simple multiple line text box)

The app will work with a touch screen - the user must not be able to exit program or navigate the PC in any way.

The colours/"prettiness" is not important at this stage - as long as it's functional. (I have included a powerpoint presentation that shows the GUI required)

Once you start, I will give you more detailed info as you need it and I will make myself completely available to you to answer any questions and give feedback as quickly as possible.

Let me know if you have any questions, otherwise I look forward to your final bid and estimated time to complete.
