## USB Secure For Windows XP
This project requires someone with an understanding of Windows XP and device drivers / hotplug devices to create an application which monitors USB ports and devices. Once a device is plugged in it will either be allowed or disabled depending on the users settings.
Please see the attached specification document.
**Don't bid unless you are:**
* a) Sure you can do the job
* b) Have read and understood the specification
I am open to alternative suggestions to the attached specification, other ideas or an alternative approach.
I know this can be done as Microsoft's 'Safely Remove Hardware' helper already performs a range of the functions required in this application.
Questions welcome.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows:
See Project Specification Document**3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

My apologies for the cancellation of the job. I was down with the flu and missed confirming the bid on time. I have reactivated the job and am in discussion with my choosen developer, TheKernelDeveloper, to nail down the final requirements and ability to deliver.
Should that discussion not be successful I will contact one of the other people who bid.
Thank you for your bids, comments and the like.
To feed back my reason for choosing TheKernelDeveloper:
1 - He took time to comment on my requirements and make sound suggestions with reasons for his comments.
2 - Although he isn't ranked as having worked for RAC before his resume showed he has the skill sets required.
3 - He didn't just tell me he was available but after offering his price, followed up with more suggestions.
It is worth noting, his price was the highest one bid, other than one other off er which was given in a comment and not as a bid. However his interest, abilites and comment were what won my patronage.
Again thank you for your bids. Good luck with RAC.
Shane
