Project Description

Hi, I am designing a website for a company who sells sample packs for electronic musicians directly to customers.

I want to create an exceptional e-commerce website experience using the best functionality available today.

I need an experienced programmer to build the backend of the website. It needs to have full e-commerce facilities (Paypal and SSL credit card) and an easy to use CMS so that the employees of the company can update the products and content. The site needs to be SEO and cross browser compatible.

The site will be structured like this:

Main navigation - Top Toolbar

• Home Page
- A animated main panel previewing a specific product into which artwork/content/reviews can be loaded.

- Products to be listed one under the other (as per thumbnails at [url removed, login to view]). Needs to be easy to add new products.

• About (goes to reviews etc)
• Products (lists all)
• Support
• FAQ
• Newsletter
• (Space for another section coming later)

Top of screen:

• Logo
• Login / sign-up
• Shopping cart
• A clearly visible ‘sign up for mailing list’ box – needs to link to a place for storage and mailing software
• Clearly visible currency converter

The site will need to have similar number of pages, functionality and level of quality as:

[url removed, login to view]

I will provide you with the design for the whole site plus a very detailed plan of how it should function. You will need to be able to work with me very closely to produce a website that functions exactly as in the design and plan.

Please only bid if your work is of exceptionally high standard and you can show examples of previous similar sites you have created. I'd also like to see an example of the backend CMS as well.

I look forward to receiving your bid!

Michael
