Project Description

Failure to read and comply to these instructions will eliminate your bid from consideration. Message me if you want to bid a single amount for all work as a combined project.

We have 5 separate projects. This is project #2. We have included complete specifications for project 1-4 and partial specification for project 5. Each project will be released separately so for this project bid only on #2. The additional specifications are only included to provide context of the work so that the objective is clearer.

Project #2 (this project) requires YII Framework knowledge and strong jQuery/javascript skill. The website is Responsive HTML5/CSS3 in YII Framework. If you are familiar with YII Framework you will understand that YII includes jquery in the framework. If you are unfamiliar with YII Framework you will need to understand its support and handling of jquery and its assets caching folder.

The YII layout page includes many jQuery components that are shared across all pages. If you understand YII you will know that the "layout" is included in the display of each of the pages. There is a main page and two content pages. The content pages include a charting page and a data grids page. All pages include many features written in javascript or jQuery. Unfortunately they do not all use the same jquery library version so there are version conflicts as well as multiple loading of duplicate libraries.

We have created a prototype “queue” widget for our website that allows the user to manage multiple lists of values. The widget uses the jqWidgets library ([url removed, login to view] ). A working prototype can be seen at [url removed, login to view] on the left side in the “chart of the day” content box. The widget is to be completed per the specifications and installed on the right slide-in sidebar of the content pages at www..[url removed, login to view] (charting page) and at [url removed, login to view] Read all pdf documents to fully understand the context. Bid only on the specifications for project #2 of the set.

We anticipate a lot of competition on all five projects. Bid competitively in skill, price and delivery.

No bidder will be considered for project #2that is not strong in both Yii Framework and jquery.

No bidder will be considered that cannot provide 3 examples of jquery work and 3 examples of YII Framework work they have completed.

We have a lot of work. Do not overbid or underbid individual projects expecting to get another. Bid only project #2 for this effort.

Be prepared to explain your understanding of the problem and its deliverables. If you cannot explain clearly what this project is expected to achieve and how you would do it you will very likely not be considered. Everybody says they can do the work. We are looking for people to convince us that they understand and can do the work.

Milestone payments are just that -- you achieve a milestone, we release a payment. You will be required to define at least one immediate milestone of 10% total award amount that establishes for us your ability to complete the project. How you define that will be a factor in whether you are awarded the project. We do not want to lose time, money or effort dealing with someone that cannot complete the task.

Only PDF document [url removed, login to view] applies to this project. The remaining documents are separate projects that will be released in the next day as I have time to describe them.
