Alert/ Notification website with user registration
Explanation of use: user logs on, registers, and selects text message and email alert. He also says he is in group A, using autocomplete feature. Another user logs on, and fills out a section called report. This information will be stored on a database. An additional user will text our service (code provided), and that information will be stored on the database. When the ADMIN goes to the admin page, all of the INCOMING alerts ie, the info from the reports section, and the user text message will be displayed for the day. As the ADMIN I will be able to approve or delete these messages. When I approve a message, It will send either a text, email, or phone call(service provided), to the groups effected by the message. Each message will need to have a box where the admin can search the database for. Ie. I can type in group A, press submit, and the alerts will be sent to the user with his/her settings.
This website will be designed to receive information from cellphones (we are using a service for this so all you need to do is integrate the code, emails, and data forms from the website). We will also need to be able to send information to cellphones (using the same service, emails, text). SQL experience is a must, as is PHP
Be familiar with google MAP API
Admin Page: page allows me to release alerts. The information on this page will come from the database. The database will consist of information from text messages, emails, and form entry. Each message on this screen will have a date, along with a USE and DELETE button. When the ADMIN presses USE, a box will show up letting the admin send the message to the users effected by the message. Ie GROUP A. The admin will type in keywords separated by spaces, and the message will be sent to all groups that are effected by the keywords. When admin presses submit , the website needs to be able to send a text message (service provided), and an email… we also have phone calls setup but that function just needs to be integrated into the admin page. This page will host all incoming alerts for the day, and will be able to send alerts outward based on the preference settings of the user.
We will provide you with the API for the texting feature. We also have the credit card payment system taken care of.
User registration / Sign UP/Login (payment api will be provided)
Profile Page/ Account page
Autocomplete data entry using JQUERY. We have a database of information we want, we will give you a list of the information we want to be put in the database
Data storage/ Group info for users/ using SQL
I will provide you with logos and graphics.
Services page: is just CSS and HTML, along with the Sign up button . I will give you graphics.
Report Page: Will have a simple form submission, along with CSS , html, text, and graphics. The information will be stored on the database and will need to be accessible through the admin page.
Register page: will contain credit card fill out, as well as text input for registration.
There will also be a feature that lets the user select a notification type. The user will also be able to use an autocomplete box that will let him /her add specific preferences to his profile. Thee preferences will be used for the database search and alert. The user will be able to add and remove these preferences on this page, and on the profile page. This feature should use JQUERY, there is a lot of open source code for this exact feature. These preferences will be used to sort through each user, for instance… if the user inputs A, and I search for A on the admin page, that user will come up .
