I need to build an Excel file (an example is enclosed) using Delphi 5 and the NativeExcel component (that will be provided). Every cell containt is taken from functions that the coder will fake, e.g. having them return the values in the example. The only calculation required are the totals at the bottom line. The pseudocode is given below: 1. find the total number of days NoOfDays to print thru functions function GetFirstDate(var t:TDateTime):boolean; function GetNextDate(var t:TDateTime):boolean; In the enclosed example, GetFirstDate returns True with t=’20-3-2005’ GetNextDate returns True with t=’21-3-2005’ .. GetNextDate returns True with t=’26-3-2005’ GetNextDate returns False 2. for each day find the shifts to print thru functions function GetFirstShift(Day integer; var ShiftDes:string):boolean; function GetNextShift(Day integer; var ShiftDes:string):boolean; In the enclosed example, GetFirstShift(1, ShiftDes) returns True with ShiftDes=’09:30/14:00 ??" 16:30/20:00’ GetNextShift(1, ShiftDes) returns True with ShiftDes=’09:30/13:30 ??" 15:30/19:30’ … 3. draw dates/shifts frame (A1-AY3 in the enclosed file) for the shift cell colour, use function function GetShiftColor(Day integer, AShift integer):TColor; 4. find the total number of employees TotEmp with functions function GetFirstEmp(var EmpName:string):boolean; function GetNextEmp(var EmpName:string):boolean; 5. draw employee frame (A4-C56 in the enclosed file) for the employee cell colour (A4-A56), use function function GetEmpColor(Emp integer):TColor; 6. find if employee Emp has worked shift AShift on day Day with function: function HasWorked(Emp, Day, AShift integer): boolean; and fill work frame (E4-AY56 in the enclosed file). Digit 1 must be inserted if the function returns True. When False, leave it blank. 7. draw total frame (C58-AY58 in the enclosed file) Warning: the enclosed Excel file is protected. I don't know is it available in registered version - but if not - I won't be able to provide such great feature ANSWER: no idea if the feature is avaiable or not. If not, I will accept the work without it QUESTION: As I can understand I should use your interface functions (you've mentioned GetFirstDate, GetNextDate, etc). Will I have to provide additional logic for working with databases, etc... to extract this data? ANSWER: No. Functions GetFirstDate, GetNextDate etc are very complex and I won’t provide them because this would mean to clog you with useless (and sensitive) data. You will have to code fake functions just to show me that your code works as required. Hopefull y when I replace your fake functions with the real ones here, ev will work ok. * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Tuesday Mar 15, 2005 11:20:54 AM: I was surprised to receive a number of bids for exactly the same amount. Even more interesting was the fact that every bid was for the maximum allowed amount. It seems that - for some reason - bids lower than $100 (that is the _maximum_ I will accept) are rejected by the system. I complained with the facilitator and hopefully the problem will be fixed shortly. After then, everybody will be invited to bid again. To few or too many makes it impossible for me to spend any time with your bid. Thank you. ## Platform windows
