Project Description

Constructing a gambling on points module for Dupal 7 which will roughly look like this:

- Content type of 'Game' sorted by taxonomy:

-- Sport type

--- Competition/League

--- Teams/opponents (number of opponents varies according to the sport type)

- Extra fields:

- closing date

- possible outcomes (varies according to the sport type)

- Each possible outcome has odds

- Actual outcomes

Users can bet points on many possible outcomes of one single game( e.g. number of exact goals in Soccer, or 3th quarter score in basketball)

The outcome field gets updated after the content is created (when the match is over) and points are distributed or deducted, based on a multiple of bet and odds.

It's worth mentioning that I'm a 'DRUPALIST' myself and I'm very aware of the Drupal Userpoints module which implements a user points system for drupal and achieve some of the functionality this module requires. I encourage integrating it with this new module.

I'm also aware of the Prediction Market module (still in dev state and not heavily developed) which gets a lot of what I'm asking for done, but is still missing in other important aspects and is quite buggy. If you think it'll be quicker to modify this existing module to meet my demands I'll be open to listen.

More detailed instructions will be given during the interview.

Please only reply after you’ve visited the example site understood what I’m looking for and find that you can achieve it in a short amount of time.
