**[login to view URL]** **Executive Summary: ** I want to do a bookexchange website where students can search for their textbooks and buy them from other students. Our site would charge a 7% fee of what they sold their book for this service. It's free to list and they are only charges when the book is sold. The contact information would not be available until after the transaction is set up (much like ebay). I would like the seller to confirm the transaction before charging their credit card because a lot of people leave their books on the webpage even though they have sold their book. The webpage would work much like this one: [login to view URL] I would like students to be able to search for their books by the ISBN number, title, author, etc. I would like [login to view URL] integration... Amazon has this thing called AWS... Amazon Web Services. we would use it to get a picture, the title, and author if the user types in an ISBN. I would like advertisements that click through to [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] if the book is not available that would automatically search in the empty field on those websites. Can browse books by class (i.e. biology book would be under Biology category) Seller enters books by ISBN number - minimum of $15 8. have a history of transactions for seller other important features shown in <[login to view URL]> a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. The listed price The book can’t be listed less than $15 to avoid everyone from listing their textbook for a $1 and getting the information without paying the 7%. ***Account*** Both buyer and seller needs to be email verified ??" meaning that they are sent an email with a link to verify their email account. Active ??" if the customer wants to leave csubookexchange, we won’t delete his file, but we will make him go inactive. ***Books for Sale:*** Sold ??" the book will either be set at sold or not sold. If it is sold, it will not come up in a book search, so customers will not buy the same book twice. Condition ??" this is just the condition of the book. Is it in excellent condition, like new, very good, good, acceptable, and poor condition. Description ??" this is where the seller describes the condition of the book and other things that may come with the book such as a CD or something. ***Books Sold:*** Commission is the commission that will be paid to me. It will be 7% of the book price sold. ***Course:*** These are the CSU courses that the books will be used in. I will imput these. I will send you the database once we have agreed to do the project together. ***Refunds: *** I would like to set up a page so that if the seller of the book says that the buyer didn't show up or they mutually agreed to not go through with the exchange then the following happens: 1. The buyer is contacted by e-mail to confirm that the transaction did not occur. If the buyer confirms, refund the money to the seller. If the buyer says the transaction did in-fact take place, do not refund the money. 2. Wait 10 days for the buyer to confirm if the transaction was withdrawn or did not take place.
