A medium-sized (200 members) professional organization is seeking requests for bids to develop a web-based conference and membership management site for its constituency. The essential functions of the developed site will include:

1. Conference abstract submission functionality
1.1. Abstract submission of multiple paper/poster presentation types
1.2. Author tracking and editing of submitted abstracts
1.3. Author notification of abstract status changes (acceptance, rejection)
1.4. Abstract review and rating by designated reviewers
1.5. Abstract administrative review (including creation, withdrawal, and deletion)

2. Conference program functionality
2.1. Program organization and session development by a program chair
2.2. Program publishing into a web-based and PDF format

3. Conference registration functionality
3.1. Attendee registration and session sign-up
3.2. Registration fees collection via paypal backend

4. Membership management functionality
4.1. Submission portal for membership applications of multiple tiers
4.2. Centralized review of submitted membership applications
4.3. Automated reminder of membership renewal dues and fees to be paid
4.4. Membership fees collection via paypal backend

All software is required to be developed for a UNIX-compatible LAMP stack within a single development language, server, and environment. Development within perl or php is preferred. Integration with custom style templates is required. Integration with wordpress is preferred. Separate bids for major components of the project (1-3) will be considered.
