We have developed a communication package that has an extensive plug-in framework which allows us to add features in a modular fashion. We are currently looking for someone or a group that would write a variety of plug-ins for the communications package. I plan on posting one or two small plug-ins and having different groups complete them and hopefully leading to a long-term relationship with one or two groups that I can feed a pretty consistent stream of work to for the foreseeable future. We will provide a fully documented SDK (See attached file) along with a couple sample plug-ins to assist the developer(s) in learning our framework. The first plug-in I want done is a simple connect four game. Learn more about connect four at [url removed, login to view] The specifications are: 1. Be written in C# under the .Net 2.0 framework 2. Fully utilize our framework 3. Use the standard board size and rules for connect four 4. Have both one (person vs. computer) and two player (person vs. person) modes 5. The one player mode should have at least 3 levels of difficulty 6. Should indicate when the user has won or lost and highlight the winning pieces 7. Should utilize AI to perform the computers moves 8. It should use resource files allowing it to be fully localizable (i.e. no string literals) 9. It should use our built in settings framework to store all program settings. Writing to the registry is not allowed 10. Must use visual studios built in documentation features (do “///?? before all functions and variables) 11. All functions, member variables and any non obvious sections should be extensively commented 12. Include all required images, layouts and style files (See SDK) 13. Be programmed in an efficient and logical way facilitating easy to maintenance While this is an individual project, as I stated above I plan on developing a long-term relationship with the developer(s) if this project is well done and on time.
1) Complete and fully-functional working plugin in a Class Library form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
It should run on any operating system supporting version 2.0 of the .net framework.
