We need t convert our existing Password Managment scripts to no longer write to htaccess. But instead write to Mysql and then have our htaccess protected areas read the sql database for authentication.
scripts needed to be modified are
ccbill password scripts
epoch password scripts
electracash password scripts
also need some type of stats to be able to read userlogins and Ip's of the users that are logged in.
when a username is added to the mysql from one of the above scripts. we need to have 2 extra iteams appended to the record for that user.
1 being the billing company they signed up with
2 being the site they joined
3. The Date they were added or authorized to the sql passwordf system
this system will be used on multiple sites and we need to ability to allow users to access more then one of the sites as a bonus on a specified # of days after they are authorized

To All Bidders,
There is a requirement for this project that needs to be addressed.
we need the password authentication to function exactly as if it were a standard .htaccess using htpasswd files. we cannot add any PHP coding to protected content since most content is .jpg and .Wmv files.
Can htaccess validate a user using a mySQL for password storage and still function same as if it were a standard htaccess with htpasswd files.
will the username and password box pop up when entering a password protected area.
thank you
Steve
