Customize this PHP import script

Hi, This project is pertaining to an import script for the products available on photopost.com. I am a licensed user of their products. In specific, I have three installations of their vBgallery product, and I want to consolidate those into one installation of their Photopost Pro product. They have released a script that does the import, however, they have informed me that there are some difficulties that I may face. 1. When I run the second import, it will overwrite the first. Same with the third. 2. It will associate each item imported to a userid, when I need them associated with a username. 3. The import may overwrite any existing data in the database, instead of creating new. 4. It may overwrite exiting albums instead of creating new ones to insert imported data. There may be other issues, but those are the ones predicted. Full access to the databases, the scripts, and whatever else needed will be given to the coder.
