We require a program to permit the user to edit the Modified Date of messages in Outlook in an Exchange Server environment and in Outlook .pst files in a non-networked environment.
UI is simple: Outlook folder tree on the left; Message List window on the right, with gridlines able to be toggled on and off. Ideally, user would have ability to specify background color of each message header.
Each folder and message will display with a checkbox; checking a folder's checkbox will select all messages in that folder (ie, place checkmarks in all that folder's messages' checkboxes). A context menu in the message list will permit "Check All", "Uncheck All", or "Invert Selection" (ie, change all checked to unchecked and all unchecked to checked status), as well as "Delete". Standard icons will display to the left of each folder and message.
Messages may be selected across folders; selection is to be persistent - once a message is selected, it shall remain selected even when its folder is no longer the folder whose messages are displayed. Only explicitly unselecting a message will remove it from the selection.
Typical Shift-Click and Ctrl-Click behavior in the folder tree and in the message list: Shift-click will select all items between the top and bottom one clicked; Control-Click allows the user to add messages, one at a time, to the selection, or to remove an already selected message.
Messages may also be selected by Date Range. User would specify date range, then check the boxes of those folders whose messages should be included in the selection group. Dates shall be specified by direct input into a field, but clicking in the field will also bring up DTP controls for easy date selection...

## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Source code must be provided with each executable submission, not only at the conclusion of the project, and must be fully commented so that the purpose of each procedure is clear.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
4) In the event Seller wishes to use a third party control, etc., it must first be cleared with the Buyer and must be able to be distributed royalty free by Buyer to its clients.
