this is very simple -- all we need is a mailing list mechanism. although this is simple, if the work is good we'll give coder first dibs on a follow-up project, which will be a bit larger. We need a form created whereby a user will input his/her first name, last name, company name and email address. With that information inputted (email address being the only required field), they can select to either "subscribe" or "unsubscribe." The email is checked to make sure a duplicate does not exist in the database, and if it is not a duplicate, the data is put into a PHPMySQL database. If the user selects unsubscribe, his email address is removed from the database. Upon subscription a notification email is generated, as it is upon unsubscribing. there should be a mailing list administration page created whereby someone can: 1. view the members of the list 2. send an email out to everyone on the list The email should address the subscriber by name/company name.
