Hi coders.
I am going to proto-type a print magazine. I am going to publish in the interenet via a website for the first year or so to test the waters and see if it will work.
So, this is what I need. A configurable online magazine skeleton. I'll need a full admin. I will also have "writers" that will log in and write stores. They should have a profile that they can edit which will have basic info, name, state, hobbies, maybe one or two more fields. They will of course need a secure login. They should also be able to edit all info (passwords, etc).
It will need to be simple and clean, upload pics, create/edit articles. It would also be nice if I could have it so that I can work on the next issue at any time, then hit a 'publish' button, the old site will go in to an archive (viewable and searchable) and the new one will be live!.
Would also like multiple article templates so when I create it I can say, "full page 3 column", halfpage 1 column" ect, maybe it like a real magazine with multiple layouts. This would also need a layout for a photo if they upload that. Maybe have them pick an article template, then upload at the end.
Would also like a header/footer type system from the pages, menus and all that would go there.
Please feel free to mail me with suggestions or comments if you have any.
