This project is to plug into a php/mysql application. The script to be created will conduct the user registration, login, lost password, authorization, and access.

I am using PHP 4.4 and mysql 4.1 and will require scripts to be written to those. I will give access to an website/ftp if necessary. NO GPL SCRIPTS allowed as this is a commercial project.


Requires first/last name, a unique username, email, password and selection of timezone. Generates an email to an admin that a new user has been created.


Requires username/password combo - if successful sets a session variable that is the users user_id

Lost Password

Requires user to put in email and emails password back to user automatically if in database


Any user that has admin access has the ability to 'authorize' users. This will change the authorize column in user_table from 0 to 1. This page should also let any other person with admin access to convert other users to admins. Admins should also have the ability to edit/remove users as necessary.

Zip file containes SQL for tables as they are currently. Can alter tables as necessary. all passwords must have MD5 or similar encryption algorithm in place when stored.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
