Pet Program

Pet Program - a non-web based virtual pet. Features: -visual representation of the pet, including different visuals to accompany different actions as well as visuals to indicate the pet's statuses -doesn't run inside a seperate window. the pet and other items display and move on top of other windows. -tracks pet's status as relating to the passage of time and also the interaction with the user -software's focus is on the pet and watching/ interacting with the pet, not games or fake currency or costumes -methods of interacting with the pet to achieve various ends such as petting it, feeding it, punishing it, bathing it, etc -not resource intensive, so that the average user's computer will be able to handle running this program in tandem with the other programs they use on a daily basis without experiencing slow-downs -multiple options of pets including cats, dogs, rabbits and others. also allow for appropriate images of items for each species. (IE a foodbowl for a dog, but a carrot for a rabbit) -coded in such a manner as to allow for later expansion upon the pet databases -thorough documentation in the source code ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All Versions of Windows XP
