we are after someone to make a software program that fights spam. This software sits on the customers desktop and all in coming emails come in via our server. The software automatically approves emails from people on the customers white list. The white list can add or remove people at any time by the customer. The address book of outlook express can be imported so people in the address book can automatically be approved. The customer can also add email addresses or domains that he approves for receiving emails from.
For those who are not on the white list, they are sent a challange question via email automactically with a number to type in. Once they respond to the challange question the customer is notified that someone wishes to contact them. The customer can approve or decline the [url removed, login to view] emails that come in from people not on the white list have 10 days to respond to a challange question before being deleted automatically.
The black list can be added to by domain name and email address.
The custome will be able to see all emails sitting waiting for a challange response and waing approval.
The service is a subscription based service so we need it to work with our server and to see the joins and current members etc. We will also need ecommerce automation for sign ups with paypal or credit card and recurring subscription.
