**Web project manager**
I'm a web designer, and my biz has grown to the point where I can't use email alone any more to manage my projects.
What I need is a web-based interface that automates many of the project management tasks for me -- to show me what project I need to work on next, how many clients are in the queue, ask/handle client questions/requirements via a questionnaire, allow me to upload files to show clients, etc.
I've searched high and low online for software to do this, but all the PM stuff I find is either overkill for what I need, or useless.
I need an area for me/my staff to login to manage projects, an admin area to edit design variables (i.e. add/remove new design products/packages that a user can buy, since all of my services are priced as a package), and an area for my clients to login and download design concepts, open message threads with the designer that's assigned to their account, etc.
The system should email a user at each stage of the design process, have a "checklist" that a user must follow to complete the steps (i.e. buy a package, fill out the survey, upload the sales copy they want me to add, approve first concept, etc), and be controlled via the web... so my staff can access the data from anywhere.
