Word Press Templates

Budget $100 - $250 USD
Bids 6
Average Bid $157

We are looking for a company to create CSS templates for Word Press - [url removed, login to view] We are looking for several templates, but would like to start with just one. Basically, we want something like the following sites: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] We do not want complete 'rip-offs' just the look and feel. Nice, professional, clean and so on... We are looking for someone with Word Press experience - i.e. they can demonstrate with past clients - references. We want someone who knows Word Press and has used it before. If you have experience with Movable Type we might consider that instead. WordPress was born out of a desire for an elegant, well-architectured personal publishing system built on PHP and MySQL and licensed under the GPL. It is the official successor of b2/cafelog. WordPress is fresh software, but its roots and development go back to 2001. It is a mature and stable product. We hope by focusing on user experience and web standards we can create a tool different from anything else out there.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

WordPress was born out of a desire for an elegant, well-architectured personal publishing system built on PHP and MySQL and licensed under the GPL. It is the official successor of b2/cafelog. WordPress is fresh software, but its roots and development go back to 2001. It is a mature and stable product. We hope by focusing on user experience and web standards we can create a tool different from anything else out there. To run WordPress your host just needs a couple of things: * PHP version 4.1 or greater * MySQL version [url removed, login to view] or greater That's really it. We recommend Apache as the most robust and featureful server for running WordPress, but any server that supports PHP and MySQL will do. If your host doesn't support the above, including mod_rewrite, I would honestly recommend looking for a better host. Hosting is a commodity these days and with a little digging it's easy to find a host that supports the above for the same or less than you're paying now.
