We need someone to generate Object-C code for an industrial iPhone app we're designing. Essentially, this app will interface between a USB microscope (connected via the Apple connector) and the iPhone allowing the user to generate screen captures and email the image to assigned recipients.
We would prefer to work with someone who has experience with Apple's "Made for Apple" hardware protocol (we're working to get the certification), but we will entertain offers from anyone who thinks they can make it work.
We will be using the IDS USB UI-1556LE camera. The specs and Linux SDK is available here:? <[url removed, login to view]> (The SDK is under the “Drivers?? tab.)
We will be modifying the camera to use the Apple connector. We can either ship the camera to you for testing or you can upload the code to us, and we can have a technician test it here.
We have provided a video walk-thru of the application here:? <[url removed, login to view]>
We're pretty set on the "look" of the app, but we're flexible on the functionality, provided it fulfills the required functions of hardware interface, image viewing/capture and sending the capture in an email.
The original XCode project and all assets within will be provided for you to use. (The "Analyze" function and page will not be needed for this version. They are for the future upgrade.)
