**Overview:
** I have been asked to make design a marketing material that could be played by potential clients to understand how a FUTURISTIC Police Communication System works.
It is a school project, so I can go crazy.
I have seen similar deployments in moveies (Cellular, Latest Die Hard, etc)
I want to use images and sound to show how a futuristic Real Time Monitoring system could be employed by the police. Basically, I want to showcase what is seen in movies, scaled down a bit. You must have seen those FBI Centers with big screens and computers with agents using GIS applications, cell phone triangulation and call tracing to control a situation.
**My Caption for system:**
**_Real Time GIS System for Police_**
**Objective**
Be able to visually communicate the working of a Real Time Monitoring System for Police and Armed Forces
**Scenarios**
*Entry Screen
*Explaination of Computer Aided Dispatch and Support System
The Introduction of Components (to be supplied)
**Incidence Report**
**Actions taken at 911 center
****Response by Police
****Decision Mechanisms
****Total Control of Situation
**
**EXTRA NOTES
The designer will download images from the Internet...and short clips too, and borrow ideas from movies.**
I am trying to show how a Police Force could use a Central Switch called Intertalk to connect all their communication systems and how they can do the following:
1. Call tracing
2. Cell Phone triangulation
3. Phone Line patching to any other communication system
4. Use of Interactive Maps to locate Police Cars, Police Officers
5. Suspect capture
**Technology
**Flash Player
**Length:
**10-15 minutes presentation
