The project involves creating a java game embedded in a website (webdesign not important, will be redesigned). The website should have member/ login functionality and should be able to connect to a database. The website needs to incorporate basic authentication so that several users can login to the site. The project revolves around a multiplayer memory game, where multiple members can follow the game on the browser and participate in it. Memory is a well known game and its principle is very simple. The objective is to pair equal symbols. The result depends on chance (of initial positions) but one can improve the score by remembering where a symbol was found, and also where a symbol was not found. The winner is the player who finds the largest amount of symbols after a given time period. What is also needed is to implement a random distribution of the game cards on the playboard. One unique feature of the game should be a magnifying glass with whom the players can move over the playboard to see closer details of the playing cards. Full details and process maps etc. Will be provided to the winning coder. Update [url removed, login to view] Please have a look on [url removed, login to view] where you can find multiplayer java games where more than two people can interact (see e.g. crosswise). You can get an idea what we are looking for just that the game that we are looking for (memory) is much simpler in concept. The game should be programmed on a similar platform (client server architechture) and the website should have a similar functionality.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
