Project Budget$250 - $750 USD
This project involves building a program that can search an event website's interactive (Adobe flash based) seating chart, and report back whether specified seats in the stadium are still available for purchase or if they are sold.
The program needs to be able to import an excel spreadsheet with hundreds / or thousands of rows. The spreadsheet will have a column for 1) Link to event website 2) Section of stadium 3) Row within that section 4) seats within the row that need to be checked
The program should then report back whether those seats are available or not. The program needs to run and check each event daily (preferably with option to change search frequency), and create a report and/or an easy way to see which seats in the list are NOT available for purchase. Ideally, this could be reported back in an additional column in the excel spreadsheet.
The attached file is an example of the excel spreadsheet that needs to be able to be imported into the program. The links and examples are real examples, and can be used to test the program.
If you are able to complete the project, please submit a bid. Also, please email me and let me know if this is something you are able to do so I can have confidence in selecting a freelancer. I'm not sure if this is even feasible to pull information off of a flash based seating map. Please let me know if this is do-able, and if you have any experience on this type of project. I will be looking for someone with past experience on this type of work, and someone with very good reviews on this site. The sooner I can get the program the better, but I would hope for a completion date of 21 days or less, with a draft submission within 14 days. If you can get the project done, but need more time just put that info in your bid and I will consider all qualified freelancers.
Payment will be as follows:
Milestone 1: Initial startup - 15% of bid price
Milestone 2: Freelancer to submit draft copy of program that is able to detect seating availability of seats from the interactive seat map - 65% of bid price
Milestone 3: Delivery of final copy of program incorporating any comments from draft submission - 90%
Milestone 4: Final payment - After 3 day review period of final delivery, freelancer will make adjustments or tweaks to the program and redeliver a final submission - 100% of bid payment
Thank you for your consideration, I look forward to working with a qualified freelancer on this project.
