Users can buy a product. Users can open a store where they upload their designs in png format. Internally each of those designs are associated to a default product for a technical reason, but user don't see that. User can buy a product with a design on it. For each product sold, the owner of the design (the one that uploaded it to his/her shop) gets a percentage of money.
WHAT WE NEED: a new module to be integrated in our existing magento shop, where the user can select the product, product color and size, select a design from a gallery, which is then placed on the surface of the product. If the surface is curved, also the image is curved, following the curvature of the product. The design can also been uploaded (png, jpg, gif, svg, ai formats supported). The user can then edit the uploaded design. If it is a vector image, a user can edit layer by layer, change it's color, size, position, rotate, flip or delete it. If it is a raster image (png, jpg, gif), the user can resize it, change it's position, rotate, flip or delete it.
The user can also combine various images on one product. In that case each image is a layer, which can be eventually removed.
User can also add text. In that case He can select font type, size, effects (bold, italic, underline) and color. The user can also combine text with images, which means that a text is also seen as a separate layer. In that case Unicode characters are needed because it will be used by people from different countries and languages.
Each product has his own drawing surface reppresented as a X,Y,W,H coordinates of a square. Outside of that square user can't place a design. The coordinates for each product are already in magento.
Beside, the module should have all the functions and capabilities of the one Zazzle uses, including a design plotted on a 3d surface like a mug.
We would like to avoid flash, because it is not readable on ipads. But we will consider also Flash offers, although with lower priority.
The module will also have a space with a price, product colour and eventually size selection.
The module will display different images of the same product (i.e. front, back, left, right) represented by thumbnails in the lower side of the module. And design will be placable on each of those sides. Apart from those 3-4 thumbnail images of the different sides of the product, other (non customizable) images of the products will be displayed as thumbnails. Those will be images of the product in real life (i.e. a tshirt on a person, a person drinkibng coffee from the mug). Clicking on those "real life example" images, a bigger image will appear. Clicking on the images with different side, an image of the selected side of the product will be displayed in the module, with the selected design on.
There will be a space with short description of the product, and another one with short description and author of the design, tags of the design.
There will also be an "other products you might like" section, where will be visible i.e. 10 randomly selected products with that design on. By clicking on that image, the main product will change to the selected one.
There will also be an "other designs you might like" section, where [url removed, login to view] images of the same product will be visible, each of them with a different randomly selected design.
Some more easy functions (buttons for social media, etc..) detailed in attached file.
Important: The programmer should make the module, install it on our site and test it.
We also ask for 6 months of warantee, so the freelancer will have to deal with bugs in the module during that period..
