We are a Media company that has a number of different businesses that provide advertising and sales solutions to Australian Auto Recylers. We are looking for an experience and talented Flex and SQL developer to join our company and assist with the further development of our sales and inventory system.


-Proven software development skills in Adobe Flex 3 / AIR (2-3 years experience preferred);

-At least 3 years using MySQL, be able to write complex queries and store procedures;

-Expert level working knowledge of ActionScript, Flex SDK 3.0 and later;

-Experience in using Flex frameworks Parsley or similar;

-Full understanding of OO methodologies and MVC architecture;

-Full understanding of event handling, response handling and error handling;

-Understanding and experience with AMF Remoting (any vendor);

-Understanding and experience with RDBMS and SQL;

-Deep understanding of local and remote data access;

-Agile / XP programming practices, Unit Testing, CI, SCM etc;

-Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to think outside the box;

-Be able to effectively communicate in English.
