Jobberbase project - create extra functionality

Project Description

This is part 1 of a ongoing project to add more functionality to an existing jobboard based upon jobberbase.

I like to receive bids from skilled coders to add more functionality to my present jobberbase based website.


1. employers should be able to make a selection for what type of job opening they will be posting , its either free or premium.

When they choose " premium " they should get the posibility to select a plan :

introduction plan : 21 day posting - maximum of 5 job openings - first 5 days are free of charge

plan 2 : 30 days posting - unlimited jobs - first 7 days are free of charge

plan 3 : 60 days posting - unlimited jobs - first 15 days are free of charge

plan 4 : 90 days posting - unlimited jobs - first month is free of charge

I should be able to set the price for each plan in the admin area

I need the employers who will "buy" one of these plans to be able to pay by using paypal or mpesa ( east african mobile money system )

Upon succesfull payment a pdf invoice should be created , the invoices that will be created need to be numbered in a upgoing order ( e.g. 01032013-001 , 01032013-002 and so on ). PDF could have a simple but professional looking layout , if needed i can supply the one that can be used.

Next thing i need done is to have employers be informed about the available resume's that do match the skills they require when they have a job opening listed on my website.

They should be getting a email with links to the profiles of candadate that may match well based upon the skills the employer is looking for.

I can settle for a solution in which the employer wil get simply an email with the name of the possible candidate and some basic info ( Full name - Age - City ) and a link to the candidates profile.

Something like this e.g.:

John Doe - 37 - Nairobi

From the employers section ( when an employer is logged in ) it should be possible for an employer to invite candidates with matching skills for a certain job opening to apply. In this case the candidate(s) that is / are selected will receive a notification about a job opening that matches their skills.

This will require modifications on the forms that already exist within the system.


Next : Visitors should be able to subscribe to different categories so they are informed about the latest jobs in that specific category


Each job listing should have social links so the job opening can be shared on different social platforms / portals


Candidates who have an active profile should be getting email notifications whenever new jobs are being added that matches their skills or interests. It should be possible to turn this option off in their profile section.

Candidates should have the option to add a picture in their profile and to set their profile to active or inactive , when its set to inactive they will not get any updates ! They will receive a reminder every 21 days to ask if they like to remain inactive.


Please keep in mind that this job is for a kenyan website so my resources are somewhat limited.
