An existing Joomla 1.5 website needs to be upgraded to the latest Joomla 3.1 version.
Complications include the site having been previously hacked (turned into a spam sending website sending a phishing scam) and it being locked by the web host until it is fixed. The pre-hack backup has been restored but it is vulnerable to automated attack and so cannot be unlocked until upgrade is complete.
The site is a basic site with content, contact form and 2 web forms. The web forms collect audience information and send that information to an email address of both the person entering the information and the site owner. These web forms will need to be incorporated into the upgraded site.
A new template is required that looks almost the same except replace the existing stock footage picture of unknown people with a picture of the business owner and make it look appropriate for the picture and pose.
The existing site contains an IT Services section which has its own template. The IT Services section and its template do not need to be recreated.
The content of the existing site was created using Custom HTML modules instead of articles. The new site should use articles arranged into appropriate categories wherever possible.
In terms of how it is seen by the audience, the new site should look and work as close to the original as possible.
