I want a website in a specific niche where I can add/remove products, descriptions, original price, discount price, as well as create promo codes etc. I want to be able to create categories and subcategories, and have main categories show up on the home page as well as subcategories within the main category on scroll over. I also want to be able to designate fixed shipping costs. Most shopping carts already have all of this or something similar, so the key is to make the site nice looking and organized, but not over the top fancy here. I want to be able to have users to be able to pay with Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, through Google Wallet, so some payment gateways need to be set up.
I also want something on the backend that lets me post a message on the front end such as: 20% off Weekend Sale - Use Promo Code End20 on checkout
Since you largely will be using an out-of-the-box solution, you will be focused on a basic layout and design. There should be an About Us plus Terms and Conditions Page, as well as a Contact Us Form and an optional social media links to be placed on the top and bottom of all pages (which will open a new window so as to prevent end-user from accidentally leaving the website). There should also be a place to update the footer of the website. To be honest, you can use an existing template and spice it up a little, as long as the site looks right and shopper experience is as if the person was shopping on any major retail site. Of course this site is much smaller and the number of products offered at any point in time may range from 50 to 200 at any point in time.
I would also like to be able to update the logo on the pages, and this solution, once created, should be easy for me to copy and upload to other domains ... but not the user data or product data since other domains will be used to sell different product.
I will probably have you work with me to set up a 2nd type of online business once the 1st one here is created. Over time, depending on the success of the business, I will award you with more work and other opportunities for partnership/shared revenue.
I am setting up many projects here on this site ... and I intend to launch these sites for the purpose of revenue and income generation. The best programmers and partners will get much bigger projects than this, several of which run into the thousands of dollars. This one, obviously, is not a major project but something many of you with building online retail store fronts have done before. If you've never set up a website with a shopping cart, payment processors, and handled some of the template design, this project is clearly not for you. I do not want and will not accept someone who has not worked with and built shopping carts as I do not have time for trial and error. I understand we may run into a few issues here and there, but I need someone with experience.
I would like the site to be mobile friendly.
Also, just an FYI, all of my sites will be hosted on GoDaddy servers. I believe they have a shopping cart tool, but you are free to use the one that you believe will work best and is most secure for any end-user data.
Bids under $100 will not even be looked at as that means you are probably going to give me some out-of-the-box template, upload it on my site, and make me worry about the functionality and take no responsibility for issues. Bids at over $400 are also unlikely to be considered. Price is important, but quality is most important. So my budget is over $100 and under $400. Make me an offer and let's go from there.
Looking forward to working with the right person, and I hope that person is you.
