We are interested in moving our static website to a wordpress site.
The current site is [url removed, login to view]
The goal is to get our current information moved into wordpress, where it will be easier for our marketing people to make basic changes to the website (add new banners, change copy, etc), to add a company-wide blog, and to give us more flexibility going forward. Over time, I'm sure that we will continuously add and change content, until at some point it's an entirely new site. This initial conversion job could turn into an ongoing periodic consulting job, as we create new content and need to adjust the site appropriately.
We do not want a pixel-by-pixel recreation of the current site, nor is it a complete ground-up redesign. We're reasonably happy with the general template for the site, so something similar would be fine. But we are open to some structural or design changes if it simplifies the migration to Wordpress or better allows us to take better advantage of the platform. For example, the Services page might be broken into separate pages, or it could be laid out differently.
If you recommend structural changes or redesign of all or part of the site, please provide a general idea of your direction.
