Project Description

We are a Value Added IT Distributor catering for SMB and enterprise businesses. We have built a website in joomla 2.5 which includes hikashop component. Due to time constraints we did not manage to finish this project internally.

We wish to have the public site redesigned including what we already have with some alterations and also a “portals” for a) various customer groups of users.

All categories of users will apply through a form which will be vetted by ourselves for financial and legal viability. Data should be similar for all users with some additional fields for partners who will also have access to additional documents on price list, comparative information, request NFR keys, assistance on product installations, sales & technical training. They should have this information in a dashboard as a summary and then be able to log in the system and check this.

Customers should be able to login the system to see products under maintenance and expiry dates, (should merge data from our CRM system) prices for renewals, prices for new products, support contract prices and New product information. They should also have dashboard once the log in to review this info and select what they require. They must be able to answer to the list of questions, and should have access to the shop for placing new orders, requesting quotes, Proof of concepts and demonstrations.

We will need an easy to update interface on version 3.0 of Joomla, suitable for even the simplest of users. The limited ability (so as not to interfere with the website design) to add new menus and other content.

Site should be fully secure, mobile friendly and SEO. It should also merge with Mailchimp. Articles should allow for multiple boxes. Menus should be multimenus.

Budget is limited.
