Project Description

I have a website, which I wrote myself many years ago and it's really looking tired and unprofessional.

To make it look more professional, I would like the following:
- A photo slider on the home page and other pages where appropriate. Something like JQuery Unslider would be fine. This would be overlaid with some text, perhaps comments from guests or a new description of what the website is offering.
- A horizontal menu structure which is much clearer and makes better use of the screen space
- A new banner for the pages where a photo slider is not appropriate. I use this banner also in generated Emails so need to have a standalone graphic file too
- A general tidy up of the layout to look more professional
- The new code must be neat, easy to read and maintain. I'm a programmer myself but lack serious web design and graphic skills. No weird bits of Java scattered around or artifacts added by web design tools.
- I would prefer to keep the right hand column at least on some of the pages but am open to new suggestions for layout.

As all the content is already there, this project is simply a cosmetic refresh, probably involving more CSS than anything else.

If you interested in this project, I would like to hear your ideas, possible examples of how you would change the site and previous examples of your work. I will be looking at your code, not just the appearance.
