Project Description

There are two item required for this project:

1: Functionality: Allowing a jomsocial profile contain multiple profiles (using the main profile as an admin, avoiding multiple login)

2: Design: A customized design template within Jomsocial, a separate website has already been created to show the design (the website was only made to show the design and no functionality exists.)

The Following is a feature map for the proposed Family Memorial Component (hence forth referred to as FMC) for Joomla! 2.5/3.1.

We will require several features in this component that will allow for the creation of a family memorial that will be managed by a subscribed member of the site.

1. JomSocial Integration - The component will need a module or plugin (Possibly a custom JomSocial Application) that will allow the Subscribe Member to display the deceased family members in their JomSocial profile page. (A profile with in a profile).

a. This application should have settings that will allow it to be made public, or private as per the subscriber's selection.

b. The application for the JomSocial page needs to be responsive in design for improved display on mobile devices, and adaptive for the application to the joomla template being used by the site or jomsocial.

2. FMC Features

a. Memorial Profile - The subscriber should be able to build a profile for each family member he/she wishes to add to FMC. Profiles should contain the following items:

i. Name

ii. Birth Date

iii. Date of Death

iv. Profile Picture

v. Images and Videos

vi. Life Events

1. Life events should be in a timeline format for organizing the associated images, places, dates and event descriptions.

2. Life events will be unlimited in the number of entries available.

vii. Eulogy

viii. Additional items:

b. Access - Access to the component should use the Joomla/JomSocial user database, and restricted by setting in the administration panel of the component.

i. Front end access should be allowed via direct link, or by use of the associated qr code (which is obviously a direct link) to the memorial of the family member assigned to the afore mentioned link or qr code.

ii. Administrative Access - A subscirbed member to the site would be able to create, manage and add memorial pages to their account. The account should be linked to the subscriber's JomSocial account/profile so they can display a list of family members associated with their FMC.

c. Design - The design of the component should adapt to the Joomla! Template; and should be responsive for better display on mobile devices.
