Simple PHP script to display the images in a directory of my website

Ok, I guess this is a very simple script which can be done. I have tried Googling on this, and found several pages of information. However I tried to implement this on my site but it didn't work. Because I have no extension knowledge in this area, thus I need some one to help me work on this and achieve the desired result I want on my website.

The requirements as follow:

1) I need to upload several set of images onto my site [login to view URL]

eg: product SKU1001 has 5 images, SKU1002 has 6 images, SKU1003 has 8 images

2) Then I will upload these images onto different directories of my site,

eg: [login to view URL] , [login to view URL] , [login to view URL]

3) Then, I need a script to be able to show the images of each directories separately as a individual page

whether the php script can be inside the same directory, or outside, you need to advise

4) And whether I need to include a different php script for all the sub directories (because the folder name is different), or you can get the script to recognize and make it list all images inside the same directory as the script, you need to advise

5) Or better, if you can make just one script, and it will called for the particular list of images to be listed within the same directory, based on a variable append at the end of the url, you need to advise

eg: [login to view URL] (something like that)

optional:

6) if the images can be resize based on width when they are displayed

eg: I uploaded images with different sizes (width and height), but I do not need to edit them in a image editor, I can just upload them in the folder, and the script can resize them based on a default width, say 500px, then all the images will align vertically with the width all the same

7) the images will be sorted based on the filenames, images are numbered eg [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] etc

For point number 3) It is not to display each image separately, my meaning is images for each folder to display on a single page, vertically align in center on the page, if you are confused, please ask me
