Web traffic increase

I have a band's web site and an architectural firm web site? and am trying to increase traffic to both of the sites. We offer free downloads of our album and want to increase the amount of people taking advantage of the free download. I am open to web optimization as well as someone going to various forums and sites to post the link for the free download. Also, I would like to capture all of the email addresses of those who visit the site and download the album in order to send them monthly emails. I am looking to develop a relationship with someone and do this on a continuous basis.
