Project Description

In general, I require a Java-based game of checkers (8x8 board game version). The required game is human vs computer. I have existing code, but require: 1. modifications to the code. the existing game is a web-based applet - i will require a non-web-based application. 2. modications to the code. the current GUI can be remain intact, but I require some visual modifcations. 3. complete annotation of the code provided by me and modified by you (this is extremly important). 4. patience with my questions. I am new to Java, and I may require some questions answered. the existing code involves artificial intelligence, so the coder must be familiar with artificial intelligence in board game strategies. The exisitng code is in Java. To give an idea of the modification required - there is approximately 1,000 lines of existing code.
