Our Not-For-Profit client is looking software to run a front door kiosk that displays residents at their hotel. We are using Drupal for the frontdesk software of the hotel. Upon checkin, residents are asked if they would like to be listed on the front door kiosks so that visitors can call them from the front door. If they say yes, they will be listed on the front door kiosk until they checkout.
The hotel is using Way2Call hardware, which is a USB device that interfaces with their telephone system. They provide a Java API and SDK to develop applications for.
We are developing the Drupal front end, which is basically a filtered view of the residents who say that they wanted to be listed by date (checkin to checkout). We need a Java developer to create the bridge to the Way2Call device so that when a resident's name is selected, their number is dialed.
We have the API and SDK files that we can share.
