I need a command-line Java application with source code that can run on an IBM zSeries Linux virtual server that will recursively scan a directory hierarchy to look for GeoPDF files. It will create a KML file that contains a link/icon for each GeoPDF found with coordinates for the file so that it will appear in Google Earth at the location associated with the GeoPDF file. For example, a GeoPDF file might include a map of Lexington, Kentucky USA. An icon should appear in Google Earth over Lexington, KY allowing the user to see there is a map available there and to click/double-click on the icon to cause the GeoPDF to open in Adobe Reader (with the TerraGo GeoPDF plug-in) installed so the user can view the map. The purpose of the tool is to make it possible for users to see what GeoPDFs are available by visually locating them using Google Earth.
