**JAVA Scan Line Trading System using Interactive Brokers API**
The client wishes to solicit the services of a qualified programmer with market/stock trading experience and knowledge to develop an automated trading system (ATS) that would generate the appropriate buy or sell orders according to specified parameters and rules developed by the client, through his Interactive Brokers (IB) Traders Workstation (TWS) application API interface.
The buy and sell parameters of the system will be in a client generated ascii file format that specifies the stock, the buy and sell prices, as well as dates of when to buy or sell the stock. The JAVA programming application must be able to read in these specific stock parameters from an ascii file and send the appropriate buy or sell orders as well as receive the current account balance and stocks owned from the IB TWS API. ? It is envisioned that a JAVA GUI will read in this list of stocks, display current price and actions by scanning thru this list of stocks (max of 75) at the rate of 1 stock every 3 seconds.? A scan line system with this time delay between stocks prevents multiple orders being sent instantaneously and potentially prevents margin calls.
We have previously done this programming in Delphi to make this interface but now want it done in Java.
