JAVA Applet Sound Recorder

We need someone to create a JAVA applet that can be placed within a web browser. The JAVA applet will do the following: 1. Allow recording of audio 2. Allow stop of audio 3. Allow saving of audio 4. Allow rewind/forward while previewing sound file Once user clicks record, it will start recording in WAV format. The maximum recording time is 5:00 Once they hit the stop button, it will stop recording and will automatically place the WAV file into their Internet temp folder. The system will then present the following options: 1. Would you like to listen to the file prior to saving? (preview file) 2. Save Now (convert and upload) If they preview the file, they can listen to the file within the applet and have rewind/forward buttons to take them to a specific destination in a file. The options presented once they click stop is as follows: 1. Do you want to re-record 2. Save Now (convert and upload) If they click re-record, write over the file in the Internet temp folder and perform the same process again (ask them if they would like to listen to the file prior to saving or save now) Once they've chosen to save the file, convert the format into MP3 format and upload to an FTP server (just put in empty variables for now). Gray out appropriate buttons when they are not valid. For example, if a user is recording, rewind and forward should not be active. Also, if a user is previewing a file, the record button should be grayed out. I would prefer this writting in JAVA because it can then be seen from a web browser. If anyone has suggestions on a better language to use and why its better, please let me know. Please let me know if any of the above functionality is NOT possible. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
