This project involves taking intermediate java code that is building a lift (elevator in America) and progressing it beyond its current state.
I want to understand where the code failed (stack overflow error), how it has been fixed, and how the code should have progressed in accomplishing everything asked of it. So, it is very important that the working code is well documented.
Zip file with existing code and Step 1 & Step 2 code requirements is attached.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Full javadoc documentation.
2) Distinct working programs that meet Step 1 code requirements. Distinct working programs that meet Step 2 code requirements. Step 1 code should be packaged in one zip. Step 2 code should be packaged in a separate zip.
3) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request - Windows NT2000.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
Compilable with TextPad editor on Windows NT2000

Uvis did an excellent job on this project and i would not hesitate to use him again. He asked very good questions, was prompt with responses, brought the work in on time and the code was very good. Just as importantly, Uvis was very responsive to my code review and ansered questions very patiently, robustly and quickly.
## BIO I have been programming for the last 10 years and in Java for at least 8. During this time I have also used a wide range of other programming languages (Pascal, C++, Python, etc.), but I will offer only the one at which I am best and have the most experience - **Java**. I have experience in creating **specialized software** (software for accountants, managers, etc.). Of course, with such a program the Buyer should try to explain thoroughly what is needed, because, for example, I might not know what is important for a real estate agent. Developing such tools might need more communication with the Buyer. Recently I have also done some **game programming** with java applets, stand-alone applications and fullscreen versions. This experience would be useful if I was to do a game project or just for knowing how to create better graphics. I will admit that game programming is alot of fun too. Of course, I would love to do all sorts of none-standard programmers that are neither games nor specialized tools. I am excellent at mathematics and that helps programmers with creating algorithms for the programs. I take pride in **delivering an useful, bug-free, easy-to-use product** to someone. I always try to keep my code at the highest level and optimize it for performance. I am always ready to accept a new programming challenges. I also think that **communication with the Buyer is essential** when creating software. Communication helps me to keep the project as close to the Buyer's concept as possible. Also I will ask questions or give suggestions on the project so I can create a better product. After all the secret to a good business is finishing projects where both the Buyer and Coder are happy. If you have any questions, at any time, concerning my bid or anything else, please feel free to contact me via "Rent a Coder". I would be happy to answer. As I mentioned, communication is essential. I should also mention that English is not my native language. However, that should not be a problem. You may get in contact with me via Rent a Coder. Due to site's policy I cannot disclose direct contact information. ## Area of Expertise * **Web Content** * * Java Applets * HTML <!-- --> * **Software Engineering (Java)** * * Data storage (storing program/game data) * * XML * Databases * * MySQL * Oracle * Specialized software products * Fast algorithms behind the programs * Sound, animation in programs * Light, functional and user-friendly Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) * Network/Online programming - Client(s)/Server programs, network communication with java * Game Programming * * Applets stand-alone programs, Fullscreen * Rendering techniques * Many other features. (Game programming depends mostly on the type of game)
