Project Description

We need to have some software developed that will act as a ui for users to interact with die cuts for a plotter. The plotter acts like a printer and uses the hpgl for commands with the plotter.

The software will require the following:

User access levels - The ability to create login information for users to access the software. We should be able to allow or restrict access to any particular design.

Die cuts will be in .eps format and provided to you. If another format is required, we can convert them.

Print Commands - The software needs to have the basic functions to interact with the plotter, such as print.

Security - Access to the actual original die cut file should be limited, stored locally only temp. Die cuts will be stored on our database, and downloaded through the software temporarily while it prints. Other security measures should be taken.

Canvas - Users will be able to load in multiple templates into one of 10 pre made canvas sizes (or customize a canvas size). This will allow them to maximize their materials when printing multiple devices at once.

Tracking - We need to be able to see which accounts downloaded which templates and how many times. Some type of automated reporting needs to be available (nothing fancy)

PHP GD - We want to include the gd engine on the side as we have some s oftware already that uses it to design templates. We would like to include this on the side almost like a plugin. Please address this separately in your quote as its not needed for launch.

Time restrictions: We need this completed within 1 month at the extreme latest. Really, we would like it within 2-3 weeks. A small bonus (5-10%) will be given if completed within the time frame.
