Project Description

We operate an outbound sales-focused call center. We use a combination of an Asterisk based dialer (Vicidial) and a customized Vtiger CRM to manage the lead and account [url removed, login to view] existing business requires us to take in daily spreadsheets and csv files from multiple sources and based on certain business rules, extract the data and populate databases that are accessed in a Web-based GUI format by our agents. We refer to this as our "pricing engine" and this is used for our agents to price products and services for end user commercial clients. This pricing engine is written primarily in PHP accessing a MySQL database where programming rules have extracted the data. We are looking for a software developer to continue to develop and modify this pricing engine while also developing other modules and features that will automate processes, improve efficiency, and provide metrics and reporting. . It will be necessary for the developer to learn and understand our business in order to provide ongoing value. We recently lost our primary internal software developer so we are needing someone that can look at our business, our infrastructure, our software, our systems, our work flow, and our business methodologies and step in and continue with our development pipeline. We have an existing repository on GitHub of the current pricing engine coding so would require the developer to be familiar with branch coding in a GitHub or similar repository. We prefer to work with someone in the USA that can quickly understand our business and immediately begin contributing.
