Project Description

We have a Single-Sign-On (SSO) project we need worked on and completed fairly soon. Basically we had a developer on it but they became flooded with work and had to hand it off, not to mention it wasn't done 100% correct according to the Design Document we created (we'll send to you when we hear from you). I would advise looking through that document to understand the project requirements.

In a nutshell, the company is XXX and we're developing a SSO solution using [url removed, login to view] that will allow customers to sign in to one single interface to access all platforms.

One of the recent issues raised that the previous developer messed up on was regarding Wordpress as the central sign on authority. This is NOT what the client wanted to do but the developer did this. They are against using WP as the central sign on and we had covered that in the design doc. We need to get in place something different. There needs to be 2 access gates; Oauth and Duo.

Obviously moving away from WP - means reconfigure our setup. Currently the DuoSecurity and Oauth are functioning as WP plugins. So we are basically starting over from what the developer did.

If you want you can use the WP site as a 'service portal' and not the main customer portal. The Oauth plugin allows for that flexibility.
Here are the milestones/tasks we have setup:

Typically, the milestones would be:
1 - Day 14 - deliver OAuth Server with sample client
2 - Day 25 - deliver chat system with integration to the OAuth module
3 - Day 25 - deliver Duo Security features and start integration tests
4 - Day 35 - complete integration and tests and move to a pilot

Everything thus far is built with WP as the framework.
Another developer I know said it can be done with drupal possibly:
[url removed, login to view]
[url removed, login to view]

I'm not even sure you would need to use the previous developer's code. You might need to start this from scratch as he used WP from the start, which is not what the client wanted.

If you read in the design doc they need some open source live chat feature for their clients. Open to your suggestions regarding this solution?

It seems since the previous developer did it incorrectly, by using Wordpress as the central sign on authority, we need to go back to the beginning. So really I don't even see at this time a set of completed tasks. All we've done to this point is create the Design Doc that outlines the entire project.

Would have to authenticate each of those platforms specified in the Design Doc.

In your response please let me know what five X five equals??
