Project Description

I need a java/javascript interface to PGP for a webmail system. (For the webmail system, we use Roundcube -- this will be changed to another system later, Roundcube will just be used temporarily for the development).

In the first step, the program should be able to do the following:

A user should be able to generate a public and a private key and save it locally - probably best to be done by javascript.

There should be a message editor in which the user can write the email (withing the webmail system), click on "encrypt", and the text will be encrypted with the public key of the recipient.

When getting an encrypted email, there should be a button which decrypts the email with the private key of the user.

It is very important that these steps will be carried out locally, without the use of any server technology.

This is just the first part of a bigger project. If you satisfy me with this work, there will be a lot more to do.
